After they de-politicized their stance on same-sex marriage, I decided it was finally time to give them a try. I nabbed a quick sandwich combo meal right before we flew back north from Florida... and I was incredibly happy with my experience. Customer Service [5/5 Stars]: The customer service here is absolutely stellar. This can't really be overstated. It really is refreshing to see people in fast food give a damn about making somebody's day. When I asked the cashier about the "best thing on the menu", three people behind the counter chimed in with smiles and their own personal opinions. When I finished up my lemonade, the manager walked up from the back of the store to refill it for me. Every employee looked happy and was quick to help out, following up with such pleasantries as "of course, sir" and "it would be my pleasure". They're either getting paid very well or the selection process must be astoundingly rigorous. Food [4/5 Stars]: As for the food, I was also surprised. I got the chicken sandwich with pepperjack cheese, waffle fries, and a lemonade (that I refilled with Dr. Pepper for the caffeine). While not gourmet by any means, everything was really tasty. The chicken itself was well-seasoned and their signature sauce added a nice tangy kick. The waffle fries went great with BBQ and Chick-Fil-A sauce, as the cashier asserted. The beverages were ice-cold, even without a lot of ice, and the lemonade was a wonderfully balanced mixture of tanginess and sweetness. Atmosphere [3/5] The restaurant itself was like a really clean fusion of KFC and McDonalds. It won't be winning any design awards, but it was clean and it had tables. Because I am an adult, I did not have the opportunity to check out the Play-Land. My only relevant criticism of the ambience was the strange choice background music. The speakers were gently playing a weird instrumental cover of "Lord I Lift Your Name On High". While that's all fine and dandy for a church service or your grandma's iPod, even my Christian friends thought it was strangely out of place and kind of distracting. Miscellaneous [?] They had a very well-stocked sauce shelf... which inexplicably housed two dozen capsules of Cheerios. Perhaps it's for young children? Assuming they stay out of politics, I'd love to eat there again.

If you ever wondered what it would be like if they made a premier chicken joint, this would be the place. Unfortunately, I didn't really see the hype, and I don't think many others did either. The employees here looked like life depraved zombies waiting to do your bidding. I wasn't greeted by anyone when I came in because the place was so busy, but the employee at the cashier didn't seem thrilled to see me. The food here is so so. I would never lie to fellow yelpers just to rave about the food that tasted like drive through. What you get doesn't remotely look like it does in the picture. In fact, it looks like they performed liposuction on their sandwiches so they looked deflated and dried out. These poor chickens died to be on our plates and this is how they treat them? The worst part yet about this place is the price, however. This could easily be a 4 star restaurant if only the food was priced to match the quality. Everything is overpriced by at least a dollar, and the food is just barely better than other places that are similar. They changed one or two things and bumped the price up just for you. Take it or leave it.

I am always greeted happily by employees behind the counter who are always mad early with please and thank yous. When you ask for something there's always a, " it will be my pleasure". I do not understand the big deal. I guess it was the first fast food chicken sandwich place.. (Before MCdee and The King ,burger places had them. )People are nice service quick. Waffle style shape fries. The owners are bible thumpers They are closed on Sunday and other stupid religious holidays. So if in need of a chicken sandwich not a muslim and religious rhetoric does not bother you when using your consumer power give them a try.

Chicken nuggets are the best of any fast food restaurant. Their new chicken tortilla soup is excellent, but it does bring some heat, so be careful if you don't like spicy foods. (The counter person made me aware of this.) The side salad is as good as a lot of restaurants. Obviously the rating is relative to the type of restaurant and price range. The service here is fantastic. They now ask for your name when you order and serve you at your table. The response to any request is "it would be my pleasure", Don't know if this is a company policy, or local store policy, but it must be a policy because everyone says it. When my order was delivered to my table, the counter person delivering the meal saw that I put one order of nuggets back in the bag. When I mentioned that I was taking that order back to the office for someone else, she offered to keep it under the warming light until I left. I have been to four star restaurants that weren't that attentive to the needs of the customers. The caliber and attitude of the help seems to be better than most fast food restaurants.

Let me start off by saying I discovered Chic-Fil-A while on a trip to Puerto Rico on a lay-over in Pennsylvania, and I have craved it ever since. My favorite item is their basic chicken sandwich which is fried so it's not a good everyday meal, but when you're craving a well seasoned juicy meaty chicken sandwich I don't think you could find one better. Unfortunately the closest chic-fil-a to San Jose, CA (where I live) is hours away, so I can't usually partake in this establishment. However now that I'm visiting Florida, I'm loving it. My girlfriend and I walked in to this location, right away I noticed how clean and organized the business appeared. The young lady behind the counter greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing. The manager in the background was wearing a dress shirt and tie which I thought was cool that he took his restaurant seriously. We ordered two sandwiches, some waffle fries, and a peach shake, all of which were amazing. We then proceeded to accidentally spill water all over ourselves which was a little embarrassing, but the service helped us get cleaned up promptly. As we were leaving a rep of the store even gave us a free sandwich which they are trying out. Overall I was very impressed, If you live in the Cape Coral. Florida area you should definitely consider yourself lucky to have such a great place to grab some good quick food and give this place a try.
